The beginning of a new year gives us a great opportunity to take stock of our life. What are we happy with? what do we no longer want?
There is a tool I'd like to share that gives amazing results for creating the life you want. It is called a Journal of Positive Intentions. If you currently journal or have journaled in the past, discard for a moment any techniques you've used before and hear these instructions with a fresh mind.
A Journal of Positive Intentions is like a dream journal. In it, you write about all of the things that you want in your life. Rather than write about what "is" (which is a common journaling technique), in this Journal you write about what you "want". Always write in the "positive" and write as though it is already yours. Make sure you are in a calm and happy state of mind before writing. Picture the scenario of what you want. Get your feeling and emotion into it, then write about it in your Journal. Things will come up that you had not idea you wanted!
Wayne Dyer's words summarize it well, "when you focus on what IS, don't be surprised if you get more of what IS". And he goes on to say "contemplate yourself as surrounded by the conditions you wish to produce." When you use the Journal of Positive Intentions, you begin to resonate what you want, and through the Law of Attraction, it will be attracted to you. It is Universal Law.
All you need is a blank journal to begin and the intention to make a change in your life!
