A timeless place
Inspired by the age-old tradition of public baths, Scandinave Spa Vieux-Montréal is a veritable Eden in the heart of the city. A contemporary and authentic environment, the spa promotes privacy and relaxation for a feeling of absolute escape. The idea of using the baths as a means of relaxation and a source of physical and spiritual well-being is an ancestral practice dating back thousands of years. This European tradition is better known under the name of hydrotherapy, or water therapy.
Scandinave Spa Vieux-Montréal is a spa on Montreal Island where people can enjoy the age-old experience of the Baths, a method of relaxation and a source of physical and spiritual well being that is among the oldest European traditions. It is a veritable Eden in an urban setting, providing visitors with a multi-sensorial experience from baths, massages and relaxation, all in an environment of natural elements and materials such as water, daylight, wood and stone.
Each Scandinave Spa establishment uses a state-of-the-art IT system to monitor the physicochemical properties of the baths, including pH, chlorine and salt levels, and to continually adjust them 24 hours a day. Our technical teams cross-check this data 4 to 6 times a day, or twice as often as is legally necessary. Created in 1999 in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Scandinave Spa is a group specializing in the conceptualization, design and management of spas. In Blue Mountain, Ontario since 2006, the group also owns and operates an establishment in Whistler, BC, as well as an urban spa in Montreal.
