In 2008 Universal Contour Wrap® turned
to Dr. Adam life from the Department
of Human and Health Sciences at the
University of Westminster to scientifically test
their Classic treatment.
The University of Westminster rounded up volunteers aged from 28 to 55 years old,
who were then placed into a high-tech ‘pod’
which was able to provide accurate data in
terms of body volume and mass.
Measurements were taken across a number of key areas (trunk and limbs) together with
skin fold measurements of subcutaneous fat
using Harpenden Calipers at four different
sites (bicep, tricep, subscapular and suprailiac).
After the testers were wrapped in the detoxifying clay-soaked bandages for one hour, the measurements were taken again.
Results of the test showed that in
100 percent of cases, instant inch loss
was achieved. Dr. Cunliffe then asked a
selection of volunteers to return 30 days
later to be re-measured. In all cases, inch
loss had remained, meaning that Universal
Contour Wrap® were correct in their theory
that following the treatment, inch loss is
maintained for at least 30 days.
Dr Adam Cunliffe commented: “I must admit
I was sceptical at first, I thought that this
treatment simply wouldn’t work, and even if
it did, the inch loss wouldn’t be maintained. I
was completely amazed by our findings; this
treatment really does reduce the inches.”
It was also discovered that the percentage
of body fat had reduced when measuring
using the Calipers and this caused real
surprise to the scientists when analyzing the
results.
The Classic treatment testers ranged in
shape and size. From the Study’s findings
the University concurred that the higher
the BMI the more inches were lost, making
this treatment ideal for those who have
struggled to shed the stubborn inches.
The degree of inch loss in the volunteers
did vary and the University concluded
that this was dependent on adiposity. The
greatest loss in inches was observed in
those subjects with a BMI of above 30kg/
m≤. None of these subjects were ‘muscular’
in build and hence the BMI scores reflect
adiposity in these subjects.
