Yields 1 Serving Servings Quarter (0.25 Servings) Half (0.5 Servings) Default (1 Serving) Double (2 Servings) Triple (3 Servings)
⅔ cup Spelt Flour
¼ tsp Baking Powder
½ cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ cup Sesame Seeds
¾ cup Flax Seeds
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (ground)
1 Begin preparing your Nutritious Sesame Flax Seed Snaps by creaming together the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
2 Once the mixture is fully creamed, continue by mixing in the flour and the baking powder.
3 To complete the batter begin to slowly stir in the sesame and flax seeds along with the ground ginger until they are all fully mixed into the batter.
4 Next, drop teaspoons of the batter onto a baking sheet (to form the snaps), leaving a few inches of space around each snap.
5 Bake the snaps in the oven for 6-8 minutes at 350 F or until they are light brown in colour.
