Organic Kale Chips are a terrific alternative munchie to make ahead and store in a glass container for your kids and family to reach for when needing a little snack.

Yields1 Serving

 1 Bunch Fresh Organic Kale
 ¼ cup Olive oil
 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
 juice of half a lemon
 Himalayan salt (to taste)
 Pinch of cumin (to taste)

You will need a dehydrator for this recipe.

Wash kale and cut it into 2-3 inch long strips. They will dehydrate and shrink slightly.

Put the kale in a large bowl and toss with the olive oil, Himalayan salt, diced garlic, lemon juice, and cumin, to taste.

Let the kale marinade for 20 minutes.

Place kale on a dehydrator tray and turn the dehydrator on to dry for 8 hours at 115F.
Once you get the hang of working with a dehydrator you’ll be looking to experiment with so many other foods and spices!
